Why are YOU so delicious?
it been a long time since i last blogged about my life in the past. but hey, i am not doing that anymore! its back to my love for foods! recently just started my own business in pastry and baking!
well! it happened when i received hari raya cookies order. a lady order 800 pieces. didnt managed to take photos. but no worry, will take photos for xmas! it was all rushing and busy working in my home kitchen! but my love was there to help a bit and everything jus nicely deliver on the day.
then again, mooncakes orders! im great in making yam crispy thousand layers mooncakes and thats of course, my favourite since i first tasted it when i was a kid! dad ordered from me and offered to buy yam for me, i cooked and sweated! i do my own yam paste and it was delicious! you couldnt buy any yam paste in singapore unless you mean neighbour country - malaysia~ so on, a few people i told ordered from me as i was not planning to do so much at one time and feel that time is not the time for me to start business yet.
i am not very good in snowskin mooncakes but i still love doing mooncakes. even at times, i really want to give up because of the taste and apearrance but giving up is the failure of life. so, it was really tired at that point of time where i kept on trying until i success. stayed all night awake just to make mooncakes. was so sick and tired. but in the end, it was worth of effort and worth of trying because without these, i will not get what i wont experience and compliments.
recently, i got many 21st birthday cake orders. seriously, it was my first few big cake order and my cakes were loved by all the guests! i was very happy! the feeling of enjoyment of joyful eating my own yummy cake! it mean i have success! wheeeee! but one thing for sure - i NEED to improve more on appearance!

pehyen's 21st birthday cake - tiramisu with mango and longan decorated as requested and chip and dale cookies on the side as her favourite cartoon. too big to look like a key shape. sobs.

chef's 26th birthday cake order by a trainee. bitter chocolate brownie with chocolate sponge squarrel as he does not like sweet so i put less sugar and put more bitter 70% cocoa. never take a proper picture! but alamak! as long as it is nice to eat lahhhh! ROARRRRRR!
bitter chocolate brownie with ganache filling - 1kg, $30
he said, everythings finished on that same day. its 2kg and with less than 10 people eat! faints!*
